1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ProList Local ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ProList Local is a directory platform that connects homeowners with verified local service professionals across a wide range of trades and home services. We do not provide services ourselves and are not responsible for the quality of work performed by listed contractors.

3. Listing Accuracy

All contractor listings are submitted by businesses or sourced from publicly available information. ProList Local makes reasonable efforts to maintain listing accuracy but does not guarantee that any information (phone numbers, addresses, hours, pricing, reviews) is current or correct. Always verify contractor details before engaging their services.

4. Business Accounts & Subscriptions

Businesses may claim and manage their listing by creating an account. Paid subscription plans provide featured placement and additional features as described on the Pricing page. All subscription payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

5. Lead Submissions & TCPA Consent

When you submit a quote request through the Service, your contact information (name, email, phone number, and project details) will be shared with up to the number of contractors you select. By submitting any lead or quote request form on this Service, you expressly consent that:

• Your contact information will be shared with matched local contractors
• Those contractors may contact you by phone, email, or text message (SMS) regarding your project
• Such contacts may be made using automated dialing systems or pre-recorded messages under applicable law
• Standard message and data rates may apply to SMS contacts
• Consent is not required to purchase any property, goods, or services

To opt out of contractor contact, reply STOP to any text message, or email [email protected] with your opt-out request.

6. No Endorsement of Contractors

ProList Local does not endorse, recommend, or guarantee any contractor listed in our directory. We do not screen contractors for licensing, insurance, criminal history, or quality of work unless explicitly stated. It is the homeowner's responsibility to verify contractor credentials before hiring. We strongly recommend verifying license status with your state licensing board, obtaining multiple quotes, reviewing references, and reading your contract before any work begins.

7. Prohibited Conduct

Users may not:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent listings
• Post fake reviews or manipulate listing ratings
• Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-query the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or our systems
• Violate any applicable law or regulation

8. Limitation of Liability

ProList Local is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service or your reliance on contractor listings, including but not limited to property damage, personal injury, financial loss, or data loss.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes relating to these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive any right to a jury trial or class action.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
