Our Mission

ProList Local is a curated local contractor directory built for homeowners who want reliable, vetted pros — not a sea of unverified listings and fake reviews. We started with epoxy flooring and garage floor coatings, a niche where quality and experience genuinely matter, and we're expanding to cover all high-value local home services.

Our goal is simple: connect homeowners with the best local contractors in their city, fast. Every listing on our platform has been reviewed by a human, not just an algorithm.

How We Vet Our Listings

We hold every listing to a real standard before it appears on a city page:

• Manual approval required. Every new listing is reviewed by our team before it goes live. Listings that don't meet our standards are rejected or sent back for corrections.
• Quality scoring. Each listing receives an internal quality score based on profile completeness, photo quality, service area accuracy, and contact information. Only listings that meet the minimum threshold appear in search results.
• No fake reviews. We do not aggregate or display third-party review scores unless directly verified. We will never fabricate ratings or review counts.
• Business information verified. We cross-check business names, phone numbers, and service areas against public sources. Duplicate or clearly invalid listings are removed.
• AI-drafted content flagged. Any content block drafted with AI assistance is flagged internally and reviewed by a human editor before publication. We do not publish AI content without review.

Our Editorial Standards

Directory pages on ProList Local are built to inform, not to game search engines. We publish FAQ sections, cost guides, and local tips only when they reflect accurate information for that service and city. We do not publish thin or duplicated page content across cities.

Featured listings appear at the top of results because businesses have subscribed to our featured placement plan — not because of backroom deals or undisclosed arrangements. Organic ranking within the directory is earned by profile quality.
